A Thoughtful Exploration of Love
Produced with longtime collaborator Zach Nahome, The Art of Loving glimmers with heartfelt reflections on love in all its forms — romantic, platonic, and self. Dean’s signature warmth and honesty shine through each track, weaving soulful melodies with timeless storytelling.
The lead single “So Easy (To Fall in Love)”, released with an accompanying visual, radiates joyful rhythms and hopeful lyricism. It offers a fresh perspective on dating, encouraging listeners to value their own worth and abundance. Songs like “Let Alone the One You Love,” “Loud,” and “Close Up” offer intimate portraits of vulnerability, showcasing Dean’s ability to craft music that resonates long after the first listen.
Signature Sound and Standout Tracks
Dean’s hallmark sound flows across the album with tracks such as “A Couple Minutes” and the previously released “Lady Lady.” Closing ballad “I’ve Seen It” delivers a soulful reflection on gratitude, wrapping the record in warmth and resonance.
Speaking on the album, Dean reflects:
“I don’t think love is just magic that happens to you, I think you’ve got to put the time in, it’s a craft, like playing an instrument or any other skill… I’m a hopeless romantic, and I suppose I’m trying to just bring a little bit of love, and loving, back into your life.”
Rising Global Recognition
Dean’s debut album Messy earned critical acclaim and positioned her as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary pop and neo-soul. This year, she made history as the first British female artist since Adele to secure three UK Top 10 singles. Her single “Man I Need” became the highest-charting track from a UK act on Spotify’s Global Chart in 2025 and climbed to #37 on the Billboard Hot 100.
She has also shared stages with some of the world’s biggest acts — opening for Sam Fender, performing with Sabrina Carpenter at BST Hyde Park, and joining Carpenter again for a run of sold-out US dates, including five nights at Madison Square Garden.
