Dolly Parton’s estate has announced DOLLYFEST, a two-continent celebration honoring the country icon, will take place across back-to-back weekends in 2027 in Nashville and London. The event was originally conceived as a January 2026 birthday celebration in Nashville, with Parton set to perform and host – but those plans shifted after her health challenges began in August 2025.

CTK Enterprises founder and Team Dolly CEO Danny Nozell says the festival was always Parton’s own idea, calling it “WDWD – What Dolly Would Do” rather than a traditional memorial, which he says she never wanted. The estate says it isn’t discouraging fans from honoring Parton in their own ways in the meantime, but wanted to give tribute events “space to occur naturally” before building out the festival she originally dreamed up.
