Norwegian pop powerhouse Sigrid returns with “Two Years,” the latest single from her highly anticipated third studio album, There’s Always More That I Could Say, out October 24, 2025, via Island Records.
Written in Tokyo with longtime collaborator Askjell, “Two Years” explores shifting perspectives in relationships, with Sigrid singing from both sides of heartbreak: “Why did you let me go, when you want to be my woman?”
“It was trying to see the situation from another person’s point of view,” Sigrid explains, “and in that way I could also reflect on my own perspective.”
A Bold and Reflective New Era
The track highlights Sigrid’s evolving songwriting and co-production artistry, following her recent singles “Fort Knox” — a euphoric anthem that turns rage into power — and “Jellyfish,” which she described as “easy, like a Scandinavian summer.”
Together, the singles hint at the scope of There’s Always More That I Could Say, an album that drifts between dizzying infatuation, heartbreak, and deep reflection — all carried by Sigrid’s signature soaring vocals and fearless pop instincts.

Rediscovering Joy and Vulnerability
After two sold-out global tours, more than 2.2 billion streams, and career-defining moments including Glastonbury’s Other Stage and a headline show at London’s OVO Wembley Arena, Sigrid took time in 2024 to recharge creatively.
She stepped away from the constant churn of “content culture,” taking solo trips through Norway, playing festivals in South America, and spending cathartic late nights writing with her band — rediscovering what made her fall in love with music in the first place.
“I love using my voice as a vessel to pour my heart out,” Sigrid says. “But on this song, I wanted it to sound carefree, joyful, and playful — maybe a bit nonchalant.”
A Voice That Defines Modern Pop
Since her debut, Sigrid has become one of pop’s most consistent and authentic voices — transforming piano-written confessions into global anthems. From the breakthrough “Don’t Kill My Vibe” and its empowering feminist message, to the shimmering confidence of “Mirror” and the emotional honesty of “Strangers”, Sigrid continues to balance vulnerability and strength with unmistakable grace.
Now 28, she steps into a new chapter with There’s Always More That I Could Say — a fearless collection that captures love, loss, and self-discovery through her most mature and adventurous sound yet.
