Ethel Cain’s sophomore album, Willoughby Tucker, I’ll Always Love You, is out now on digital and physical formats, accompanied by a visualizer for “Dust Bowl.” The record has already earned widespread critical acclaim, praised for its emotional depth, atmospheric storytelling, and striking vocal performances.
Serving as a prequel to her celebrated 2022 debut Preacher’s Daughter, the album chronicles Cain’s first love, Willoughby Tucker, blending songs written throughout her career. Recorded over the past year in Alabama, Pennsylvania, and Florida, the release includes standout singles “F*** Me Eyes” and “Nettles.”
Cain will kick off the sold-out Willoughby Tucker Forever tour next week, with 170,000 tickets sold across North America and Europe, including headlining stops at New York’s Radio City Music Hall, London’s Eventim Apollo, and Paris’ L’Olympia.
Florida-born multidisciplinary artist Hayden Anhedönia, the creative force behind Ethel Cain, continues to cement her place as one of music’s most captivating storytellers—following her breakout EP Inbred (2021), acclaimed debut album Preacher’s Daughter (2022), and collaborations with Florence + the Machine, Givenchy, and Calvin Klein.
