Icelandic rock powerhouse KALEO have announced the 10-year anniversary deluxe edition of their breakout debut album A/B, due out June 10 via Rhino Records. The special release will arrive as a double vinyl set, featuring rare studio recordings and iconic live performances that capture the raw energy that first propelled the band onto the global stage.
To celebrate the milestone, KALEO will embark on an expansive North American “Way Down We Go” Tour, kicking off this summer and featuring very special guests DAWES and Darren Kiely, with Elle King joining for a headline performance at the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Full tour dates and ticket information are available here.
“This year’s tour will be even more special considering we’re commemorating ten years since the release of A/B,” said frontman JJ Julius Son. “We are truly honored that the music still means so much to so many people, and we’re planning an entirely new show we think our fans are going to love.”

Originally released in 2016, A/B spawned enduring hits including “All The Pretty Girls,” “No Good,” and the global phenomenon “Way Down We Go,” which reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Rock chart and has since amassed nearly 4 billion streams, along with more than 3 million TikTok creations worldwide. The anniversary tour will also feature fan favorites from KALEO’s subsequent releases, Surface Sounds and 2025’s critically acclaimed MIXED EMOTIONS. Forbes praised the latter, writing:
“Like so many of the great ’70s rock albums, it is powerful, diverse, rooted in great American sounds like blues and country, blended with a rock attitude and base sound.”
The tour launches June 27 at The Novo in Los Angeles, traveling up the West Coast, through the Rocky Mountains, and across the Midwest and Canada before wrapping on the East Coast in August. Highlights include Red Rocks (Colorado), Pier 17 (New York City), and The Pinnacle (Nashville).
Formed in 2012 in Mosfellsbær, Iceland, KALEO began as a group of childhood friends – JJ Julius Son (vocals/guitar), David Antonsson (drums), Daniel Kristjansson (bass), and Rubin Pollock (guitar)—and have since become one of modern rock’s most compelling global exports. The band has sold over one million concert tickets, performed at major festivals including Coachella and Lollapalooza, appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” and toured with The Rolling Stones.

With 16 million monthly Spotify listeners, 6 billion global streams, and 1 billion YouTube views, KALEO’s music has also become a staple of film, television, and gaming, appearing in Yellowstone, Grey’s Anatomy, Suits, Law & Order, and EA Sports franchises, including Madden NFL, FIFA, and NHL.
The deluxe edition of A/B offers fans a deeper look into the band’s journey and evolution, while the upcoming tour promises a reimagined live experience honoring a decade of music that continues to resonate worldwide.
