Jones is constantly evolving as a songwriter and performer, and finds inspiration in variations of art, including Vincent Van Gogh, Federico Garcia Lorca, and poets Hafiz and Rumi. Having grown up in Georgia, Jones began his musical journey circling the Atlanta music scene, before making his current destination in Nashville, Tennessee.
Jones has released four albums, three EPs and several singles. You’ve probably heard his music in your favorite television show or film, along with any of his tour stops across the US, along with sharing the stage with Shawn Colvin, Patty Griffin and Ten Out of Tenn, a songwriting collective.
Matthew has a slew of tour dates this fall, with stops in Chicago, St. Louis, Nashville, Charlotte, NC and many others.
