Having hit after hit in his home country of Sweden, Grammy-nominated Swedish singer-songwriter and producer, Ola Svensson, has released new music under his new alter ego, Brother Leo. Under this moniker, Brother Leo officially made his worldwide debut by releasing his new single with accompanying music video, “Strangers On An Island.”

Having been pushed into participating in activities like boys’ choir and piano lessons, all Ola really wanted to do was play football. He did play professional soccer for former UEFA-cup team Trelleborgs FF at age 17. After he sang at a school function, his friends encouraged him to audition for Pop Idol, with much reluctance on Svensson’s end. As fate would have it, he landed a deal in his native Sweden as a result of that audition. Since then, he’s had a string of hits in his country, along with songwriting credits for such popular US artists like gnash, Hailee Steinfeld and Akon. His new identity, Brother Leo, was assumed in 2018, and began writing and producing with Mark Ralph (Clean Bandit, Years & Years, Jax & Jones), Coffee (Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber) and Dan Grech (Lana Del Rey, Liam Gallagher, George Ezra).
