Phoenix alternative-rock band, Jane N’ The Jungle features powerhouse lead singer, Jordan White, and her bandmates Brian Dellis and Bryan Dague. The band mixes their influences of 90s rock (No Doubt, The Cranbreries) with their current influences (Dorothy, Paramore) to create their sound.
The band is a live audience favorite, known for their raw and truthful performances, and have shared the stage with several iconic bands like Dreamers, Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf, From Ashes to New and Night Riots. Festivals and reputable venues they’ve performed at include Rock N Roll Marathon, Whisky A Go Go and The Viper Room. Lead singer, Jordan White, was featured in the 2019 Season 2 of ABC’s American Idol, and the band have received local accolades and nationally, with their singles “Smoke & Dust” and “Open Road Blues” featured in Honda prime-time commercials.
The music video for their new single “Little Blue,” features the band on stage at the infamous Viper Room in West Hollywood, showcasing the band’s primal performance. Of “Little Blue,” lead singer White shares that it’s “the opening track off our upcoming record. It brings the fire out of the gate and grabs the audience in with its energy and attitude.”
You guys are having a big year with your new album releasing soon. Can you share with us what the creative process of making it was like?
It was a very organic process with the initial goal of tracking a couple songs for single releases but we ended wanting to do a full length record after our first recordings at 4th Street Recording in Santa Monica. We liked traveling together and being as present as we could while recording the music. We went to Gravity Studios in Chicago and tracked four more songs there and finished the record in Phoenix with Corry Spotts. Listening to this record takes us back to each moment we had creating it. Being able to relive these moments in the music will always make this record special to us.
You all obviously enjoy performing live, and have an energy like none other. What is about these live performances that fuel each of you creatively?
Thank you! I’m a musical theatre major, so live performance is my passion and art. It’s easy for us to be so emotional and energetic on stage while performing our songs because we are all so connected to the music. We love sharing our energy and vibe on stage with our audience.
Jordan, you were a part of this season’s American Idol; what was that experience like for you, and would you do it again?
I am too old to participate again…. It was a very interesting experience that I am grateful to have had. I think it’s more about them seeking characters rather than true performers or stars.
You all have toured with some well known bands; what is your most favorite memory during your time of touring with them?
We were able to be tour support for a few well known bands while they were in Phoenix and Tucson. Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf and Dreamers to name a couple. It’s always cool to see how they connect with their fans. Our favorite time touring so far has been our solo tour to SXSW a couple years ago. Lots of goofy van stories and memories.
You guys made your music video for your new single “Little Blue” at the iconic Viper Room in West Hollywood. Why did you choose to shoot it there, and share with us you and your band’s experience making this video?
We wanted to share with our audience an actual Jane N’ The Jungle show and keep it true to who we are and our music.
Will you guys be touring later this year in support of your upcoming album release?
We will be in California for sure and hope we can add more touring dates!

Who was your first concert, and which one has been your most favorite thus far?
NSYNC was my first concert. Cage The Elephant is one of my favorite live performances I’ve seen to date.
Which five artists and/or albums would you not want to live without?
Lana Del Rey, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Lady Gaga, Aerosmith
Do any of you have a fun, guilty music and/or entertainment pleasure?
The Bachelor!! We even watched it together with pizza and wine while touring in LA with our host family. We also workout a lot and into fitness. We can do 100 weighted pull ups in a session – we are very extreme.
