Musician Jessica Foxx has been dancing and performing since the tender age of 3, and then went on to take voice lessons and acting classes shortly after. She moved to Los Angeles in 2014 to continue her passion of being an artist, and enrolled in the Vocal Performance program at the renowned Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA, and then began to release her original music in 2016.
Foxx blends her love of electro and dark-pop, with a more edgier sound with her vulnerable songwriting that is refreshing and bold. While Foxx releases her music independently, her debut single, “Heartbreak Tastes Like Summer,” was co-written with upcoming musician, Leland, who has written for such big acts like Selena Gomez, Troye Sivan and Sabrina Carpenter. Her single “Cake” was also written with BMG songwriter Jeremy Thurber, known for his writing with and for Meghan Trainor and Trisha Paytas. The single was also mastered by Randy Merrill, who has worked with Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. Her latest single “Bali” has reached over 100k streams on Spotify, consisting of 63 countries around the world.
Foxx’s main focus with her music is to connect with her fans and build a genuine community around and with her music. Listen to her new single “Never Meant To Be” via the linked Spotify app below:
