“It’s been a long time since we’ve been out there and we’re excited to hit the road this spring,” says singer Taylor Momsen. “The new record is almost finished, the songs are incredibly personal, but we’re ready to start sharing what we’ve been through the last couple years with the people that mean the most to us, our fans. See you all soon!”
The Pretty Reckless have been working on their fourth record, and have shed light that it is some of their most personal work yet, featuring collaborations with several iconic artists. The band will release a new single this spring, with the album to follow later this year.
Having formed in 2009, The Pretty Reckless ignited with their 2010 debut, Light Me Up, in addition to their follow-up with 2014’s Going to Hell, debuting in the top 5 of the Billboard Top 200. The album also had three number one hits with the gold-certified, “Heaven Knows,” “F***** Up World,” and “Follow Me Down.” Their third album, Who You Selling For produced a number of diverse tracks, including “Oh My God,” “Back to the River,” and “Take Me Down.” The group has received praise from Vogue, Nylon and Billboard, and have toured with Soundgarden and Guns N’ Roses with their music altogether accumulating half-a-billion streams.
