Announced today, singer and songwriter Matt Nathanson, will release his eleventh studio album, Sings His Sad Heart, on October 5 via Acrobat Records/Crush Music. The album was produced by Butch Walker, Stacey Jones and Adam Pallin, and is available for pre-order now with new single “Way Way Back, and two new released tracks, “Used To Be” and “Mine.” Pre-order the new album here.
Previously, Nathanson released his Def Leppard cover album of their class album Pyromania, with Nathanson’s called Pyromattia, and shot to the number one spot on iTunes Alternative chart when it released. Although Matt Nathanson is known for his sugary sweet hits like “Come on Get Higher,” he is an incredible stage presence, mixing live comedy with his musical performance. His 2013 album, Last of The Great Pretenders, debuted at sixteen on the Billboard Top 200, and landed the number one spot on iTunes’ Alternative Albums chart. Nathanson has performed on “The Howard Stern Show,” “Ellen,” “CONAN,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” among many other programs.
