Kim Petras releases new single ‘Sweet Spot,’ announces European tour dates

Pop musician Kim Petras has released her newest single, “Sweet Spot,” which is disco-inspired. Stream and purchase the new single here. She recently sold out the North American leg of her first-ever headline tour during pre-sale, and has added European dates to her upcoming “Broken Tour.” Her tour kicks off in the UK on August 23 and 24, appearing at Leeds Festival and Manchester Pride. She will also headline shows in London, Paris and Amsterdam, including two shows in Germany. Tickets will be available for purchase Friday, May 17 here.

Petras’ previous single, “Broken,” reached the Top 10 on the iTunes Pop Chart, and has also released the singles “Blow It All” and “Got My Number.” She’s recently been recognized as a promising new artist, with over 125 million global streams, and hitting Top 40 radio with her hit “Heart to Break.” She also gained acclaim opening for Troye Sivan’s nationwide tour.

Petras will also perform at the sold-out World Pride NYC June 29, and recently headlined Sydney Mardi Gras, along with selling out her first headline shows in NYC, Los Angeles, Sydney and Melbourne. She made a pop-up appearance in Australia, performing alongside Rita Ora on her Phoenix World Tour. Petras was recently nominated for GLAAD’s Outstanding Music Artist award, and has been heralded as one to watch by New York Times, Billboard, Paper, V Magazine, Noisey, Refinery 29 and Popcrush, among others.

Petras was also chosen as a Spotify Rise artist, and became New York Fashion Week’s most buzzed-about names, having released her acclaimed, Halloween-inspired mixtape, TURN OFF THE LIGHT, VOL. 1, featuring the renowned Elvira, and joined fellow pop starlet, Charli XCS on her Pop 2 mixtape, and collaborated with Cheat Codes on their single, “Feeling of Falling.”
