Announced on Friday, June 22, the city of Salisbury, NC announced the third annual Cheerwine Festival in downtown Salisbury, NC on Saturday, May 18, 2019. The festival is only two years old, having begun in 2017. The iconic family-owned soft drink has called Salisbury home for 101 years.
2017 was the year Cheerwine commemorated its 100th birthday by inviting Cheerwine of all ages to Salisbury to enjoy the beloved soft drink, live music, a barbecue contest and much more. The festival returned this year, with musical headliner Sister Hazel, with more than 30,000 attendees in 2017 and 2018.
2019 plans to be even more of the soft, live musical entertainment, variety of Southern food, Cheerwine merchandise for sale, family-friendly activities, a beer garden and local craft vendors. A full list of food, arts and crafts vendors and musical acts will be announced at a later date.
