Having just released their two singles “Settled In,” and “God’s in the Details,” Los Angeles duo, more, featuring the multi-talented vocalists, songwriters, and multi-instrumentalists, Kane Ritchotte and Malcolm McRae. The duo have written songs influenced by the music they grew up on, and have combined the genres of pop, rock, art, literature, and film as influences for the basis of their music and lyrics. As stated in a press release, they both take “equal inspiration from Can & Squeeze,” that “can coexist as well as Emitt Rhodes and Yellow Magic Orchestra or Roberta Wyatt and Tame Impala and so on.” The duo signed to Warner Records, although have been writing and creating music for several years now. more’s debut EP comes out on June 26, and was produced by the well-known producer, Tony Berg. They released two music video’s, directed by filmmaker Justin Daashur Hopkins and both were filmed in Los Angeles. View the videos here.

In anticipation of their upcoming EP, we’ve got five fast facts from Malcolm and Kane about them and their music. Not only are these interesting facts, but a few are humorous, and light-hearted. Check them out:
- Malcolm McRae eats an Oreo a day
- Kane Ritchotte is newly single
- Malcolm only recently watched “Titanic” for the first time. Didn’t love it.
- Kane did voice over work on “Jungle Book 2” and “Lion King 2.” Still hasn’t received payment.
- Separately, both Malcolm and Kane have unreleased solo records. Malcolms being overseen by Jon Brion, and Kane’s by Jonathan Rado. Maybe one day, they will see the light of day…
