The BeachLife Festival will return to Redondo Beach, California, from May 2-4, 2025, for its sixth year, offering a high-end experience with performances by Lenny Kravitz, Sublime, Alanis Morissette, Train, O.A.R., CAKE, Jackson Browne, and more. The festival combines live music across multiple genres with a vibrant mix of art, food, and interactive experiences. EP 1/2 to follow, out on June 26
Los Angeles-based electric rock duo, more, features two of the most gifted songwriters and multi-instrumentalists, Kane Ritchotte and Malcolm McRae. The duo have signed with Warner Records, and their EP 1/2 will debut on June 26, featuring five tracks produced by the renowned Tony Berg. more have released their singles, “Settled In” and “God’s In The Details,” out now on all DSPs. “Settled In”
Kane and Malcolm use their love of alt-pop heroes including John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Jeff Lynne, along with such modern, electronic leaders like Can, Bowie, Big Star, Gorillaz, Kendrick Lamar, The Kinks, Tame Impala, and many more to create a succinct, synchronized harmony with a gorgeous music canvas. Their love of music is inherent, as Kane is a well-known session drummer, vocalist, and songwriter, who has played with Portugal.The Man and Grouplove. Malcolm is a former architecture school attendee, who moved from his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama to Los Angeles, who wanted to expand his opportunities as a singer and songwriter, whose voice is absolutely powerful and haunting. Both met through mutual friends and developed an immediate friendship resulting in their musicianship that focuses on the method of songwriting and the craft of music. They have set out to make music that is embedded in memory and sounds like nothing else that’s out there.
“God’s in the Details”
On Sunday August 18th, Lykke Li’s inaugural all female festival, YOLA DÍA, kicked off at LA Historic State Park to a sold out crowd and was the first women’s festival to hit L.A.in 20 years. The day was kicked a speech by renowned activist Dolores Huerta who unveiled an art installation of one-of-a-kind flags that were auctioned off to benefit the ACLU.
The rest of the day featured performances by female artists Lykke Li chose herself: Lia Ices, CupcakKe, Empress Of, Kelsey Lu, Megan Thee Stallion, Courtney Love & The Chateau Band, SOPHIE, Cat Power, and of course Lykke Li closing out the evening with a dance party on stage. Megan Thee Stallion continues to let fans know she’s still having a “Hot Girl Summer” by performing her break out hit single while Courtney Love pumped up the crowd by playing a bunch of Hole songs and covers of Fleetwood Mac’s “Gold Dust Woman” and Echo and the Bunnymen’s “The Killing Moon.” Well-known partygoers included Karen O., Spike Jonze, King Princess, Brandon Boyd, Rostam, Kelly Osbourne, Euphoria’s Hunter Schafer, and more.

In addition, $1 from every ticket from the Live Nation produced event is going to The Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles, an organization exclusively serving and empowering women experiencing homelessness and formerly homeless women.
YOLA DÍA is named after and presented by YOLA Mezcal — a female-run mezcal brand based in Oaxaca, Mexico founded by Yola Jimenez, Lykke Li, and Gina Correll Aglietti, utilizing a recipe and farm passed down from Yola’s grandfather. Employing only women in their hand-bottling facility and sales force, YOLA is dedicated to developing the economic autonomy of the women of Oaxaca by providing them with steady work and fair wages. YOLA DÍA is a festival curated by the YOLA Mezcal founders highlighting extraordinary talents in music, food, and visual arts who embody the spirit and ethos of today’s female leaders and capturing the voice of the future.

Next City is a rock band from Los Angeles, California, and is comprised of well-known actor and vocalist, Samuel Larsen, and guitar player Philip Paulsen. Both began writing for their project that combines garage rock with a dance vibe. Rounding out the band features bassist Nick Diiorio and drummer, Ben Brinckerhoff.
Next City takes their influential love of superstars Michael Jackson and Prince, along with current rockers, Queens of the Stone Age and The Dead Weather to create their powerful music that’s “got to be heavy, got to make people dance, and got to be honest.”
The quartet has released their debut single, “Blue Star,” this April, with it’s accompanying music video featured below. Their next single, “Tell Me,” will debut this May. The band will kick off their music with two shows in early June in Los Angeles and New York.
