Highly successful rock band, Shinedown, have announced their first set of dates for their 2019 ATTENTION ATTENTION World Tour. The U.S. headlining shows will kick off this winter on Feb. 20 in Estero, Florida and will feature supporting acts Papa Roach and Asking Alexandria. Shinedown has released their new single “Get Up,” from their chart-topping album, ATTENTION ATTENTION out on Atlantic Records, and encourages listeners with themes of hope, empathy and encouragement during the struggles of life. Offering a light in a time of darkness, especially with mental health issues, is something front man Brent Smith is deeply connected to after battling his own personal demons, and “Get Up” was born out of watching his friend, Shinedown bassist Eric Bass, deal with clinical depression. “Get Up” has received critical praise from Huffington Post, Salon, Buzzfeed and Parade, among many others, and has more than 13 million total streams on Spotify and Apple Music combined. The single is currently climbing the Top 10 charts at Alternative Radio, including Active Rock Radio.
ATTENTION ATTENTION has landed number one on Billboard’s Alternative, Top Rock and Hard Rock Albums charts, and debuted in the top 5 on the Billboard 200 and at number one on iTunes. The band are currently on tour for their co-headlining U.S. tour with Godsmack, before heading overseas for their headline UK/Europe tour to kick off on October 29.
