Sabrina Carpenter‘s new album, Short n’ Sweet, was released today under Island Records. Listen here. The album features collaborations with Amy Allen, Julia Michaels, Steph Jones, John Ryan, Julian Bunetta, and Jack Antonoff and is noted for its personal, relatable lyrics and cohesive sound.
Carpenter has already made headlines this year with two hit singles, “Espresso” and “Please Please Please,” which topped the Billboard Global 200 and Global Ex-US charts. “Espresso” became the third fastest song to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify, marking her second #1 on the Billboard Pop Airplay Chart. Carpenter also achieved notable success in the UK, becoming one of the few artists to top the #1 and #2 spots on the UK Singles Chart.
Sabrina Carpenter has released the official music video for “Taste,” the opening track of her new album. Directed by Dave Meyers, the video features a dynamic and exciting collaboration with Jenna Ortega. Sabrina Carpenter’s sixth studio album, Short n’ Sweet, is now available and features the track “Taste,” along with her chart-topping singles “Espresso” and “Please Please Please.” “Espresso” reached 1 billion streams on Spotify quickly, while “Please Please Please” became her first #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Before her album release, Sabrina Carpenter appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. She participated in a comedic “EW!” sketch, discussed her new album Short n’ Sweet, and made her television debut performance of her hit single “Please Please Please.” In September, Sabrina Carpenter will debut on the MTV Video Music Awards mainstage and is nominated for six awards, including Artist of the Year and Song of the Year. Shortly after, she will start her sold-out Short n’ Sweet Tour on September 23rd in Columbus, with 33 dates across the US and Canada.
Carpenter will start her sold-out Short n’ Sweet Tour across North America in September, supported by Amaarae, Griff, and Declan McKenna. She is also launching the Sabrina Carpenter Fund in partnership with PLUS1 to support mental health, animal welfare, and LGBTQ+ communities.
