New York City rockers, Jeremy & the Harlequins debuted their new single and it’s accompanying music video “Nothing Civil” from their upcoming album, Remember This, releasing on Aug. 17 via Yep Roc Records. The band will tour with Chuck Prophet in support of the album during the months of July and August.

“I wrote this song a few months before the 2016 election and it seemed really relevant at the time,” explains vocalist Jeremy Fury. “We didn’t record the tune until mid-2017. Now it’s the summer of 2018 and one of my biggest hopes, and also fears, was that the song wouldn’t feel relevant anymore. But here we are. I don’t think of this as a political song so much as a song about trying to get along with each other. We have more similarities with each other than differences, and this song is an olive branch to people on every side of every fence.”

This is the group’s third studio album, and the band’s objective is keeping rock n’ roll alive with their music. Their debut album came on the scene with American Dreamer in 2015 and it’s follow-up, Into The Night in 2016. They released a series of songs through 2017. The songs on their new album Remember This were produced by Rick Parker (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Lord Huron and Scott Weiland The Wildabouts). Their single “Trip Into the Light” was featured in the Tom Cruise film “Edge of Tomorrow.”
